Where is the Information Hub?

On Glasnevin campus, you can find the Information Hub on the first floor of the U building. On St Pats campus, you can find the Information Hub in D block.

How do I get my leap card (travel card)?

To obtain a Student Leap Card for use in Dublin City University (DCU), you need to apply online, upload supporting documents, and then collect your card from a designated Student Leap Card agent.

The process involves online application, photo verification, and document upload for age and student status.

How to join a Club or Society?

We have 140+ clubs and societies to choose from. There will be a Clubs and Societies fair day on each campus where you can chat to different groups and sign up.

The fair will be on Glasnevin campus on September 16th and 17th, it will be on St pats campus on September 24th.

What is The Pantry?

The Pantry is designed for all students struggling with the cost of living crisis.

It's located at the top of The Steps. Open Monday to Friday.

Want to bring your own food to campus?

We have microwaves located in the U building for students to use. We also supply our bathrooms with period products and condoms for students to take what they need.

What is the Students’ Union?

DCU Students’ Union is the representative body of all 18,000 + DCU students. As soon as you become a student, you’re automatically a member of DCUSU. Welcome to the family!

The Students’ Union (SU) is made up of five full-time officers and ten part-time officers. It is the job of the Students’ Union to represent, help and support you, while creating awareness, fighting for change, providing opportunities, creating a community and running events, all for you the students!

The SU is a democratic and transparent organisation that always has your best interests at hear.

Where do I get my student ID?

Check your timetable for orientation, you will see an assigned time slot for card collection. If you are still unsure, visit registry on campus.

What do I do if I can’t find accommodation?

Finding accommodation can be difficult. Our Community and Citizenship officer will be able to point you in the right direction.
