Having a safe, comfortable place to live is essential for students to thrive both academically and personally. This guide is here to help you advertise your property to DCU students using our StudentPad platform.
Step-by-step: How to advertise your property
We recommend completing your listing using a computer, rather than a mobile or tablet. The process should take around 20 minutes, and you can save your progress at any stage.
Before you begin, have the following saved on your computer in an easily accessible folder:
- A copy/image of a utilities bill for the advertised property (in your name)
- A copy/image of your photo ID (passport or driver’s licence)
- Photos of your property — especially the room(s) to rent and exterior

Rent Guidelines
Please note the following maximum rent rates allowed when advertising on DCU StudentPad:
- €850 per month for a 7-day-a-week lease
- €650 per month for a 5-day-a-week lease
