For students on placement / distance learning / who cannot attend campus for health and/or accessibility reasons, you may order free products here.

All Irish residents can apply for a Drugs Payment Scheme (DPS) card, capping prescription costs at €114/month. It's valid for 5 years, not means-tested, and helpful if you don't have a medical card.
